Remainder is missing

Post by Craxx » 2014-12-01, 12:34

Hy George,

after upgrading from tcpro_36012 to tcpro_36014 or tcpro_36015 the remainder is missing in calendar.

Hy George,

yes the remainder option is ON.

I have checked with two installs (2 different domains) of teamcal, using the same database. Only on tcpro_36012 the remainder is showing. In tcpro_36014 or tcpro_36015 the remainder is missing.

best regards
Craxx ;-)

Hi Craxx
I am having problems reproducing the effect. The remainder section shows just fine in my local installation as well as in the demo. See screenshot:
Is it possible that you have not set your absence types to be shown in the remainder? You can set that option when you edit an absence type.

Hy George,

i checked it and it is correct like in screenshot. So this is not the problem.
Other ideas ?

I have a second new testinstallation only withe the demo data and there it works fine. So it could be a problem in database....

best regards
Craxx;-)

Really beats me at this point. I would need access to your installataion to dig deeper. Any chance for that?

Hi Craxx
I think I found what the reason is. None of your absence types has an allowance. They are all set to 0 meaning unlimited allowance. But without an allowance no remainder can be computed. I have set an allowance of 30 days for "U". Now it shows in the remainder section.
Best regards,
George

Hy George,

thanks for finding the culprit. Perhaps you can change that in the next version like in Version 12, if 0 was "allowed". It looks, like we use the teamcal, not so good when there is a 30 in .

Thanks and best regards
Craxx ;-)
