No mail for approval

Hi,

When in user settings and "I want to be notified by e-Mail when: A user is added or changed" is checked, i get a mail when a user is added or changed. But when i change an absence type in my calendar that needs approval no mail is sent.

I'm logged in as a normal user, i get the popup that says i need approval, but no mail was sent. I'm using 3.4.003

Any suggestions?

Hi Danny,
the reason for this will probably be that the notify_user flag for declinations is off. How can you switch it on? You can go to the Declination Management page and switch it on there.

However, while looking at this issue I realized that it is not logical to only make the notifications for declination available for threshold declinations. I will change that accordingly so that on the Declination Management page you can switch on these flags in general, independent from what type of declination occurs. This change will be available in 3.5.000.

The new noification mail will also be a little more convenient to read. I had this request many times so I tackled it now. I know it will not win a beauty contest but at least it shows right in all eMal clients since it is text only (unless you configured your client to display text-only in a proportional font). Here is a sample as it will look as of release 3.5.000:

This is going to be so great!

Is it going to be that only the requested days will be listed or will the already approved days also going to be visible with the newly requested days highlighted?

Hi Danny,
glad you like it. The new release 3.5.000 is now available on my site (which I completely revamped by the way...).
The new template will show all current absences in the corresponding month, so also those that the user already had set.

PS: Just saw that I had to approve your previous post. Don't know why. That was unintentional. Gotta check on that...

I reply on that one... I think many out there uses gmail as their mail provider and here the cal change email looks like this

And I think it's not changable. I can change default font in settings but this only works for my text when I write a new email :|

So any other idea how we can solve that problem?
